Why Is Representation Important?
Many young Black girls deal with self- image problems. Why is this? It is because they are shown that they have to look and act a certain way on social media.

Social media is used to feed these young kids minds with unrealistic ideas of how they should actually look like. Because of this our black girls start to feel unworthy and less than.
Black women earn 63 cents for every dollar earned by white men
By encouraging more realistic ideals and making sure that young black girls understand that they aren't subjected to baseless standards on social media. These young girls are our future doctors, chefs, teachers etc. We have to make sure they're being positively influenced to ensure a better future.
